Mark R. Albertz, CPA, Financial Consultant Mark is a partner in NuevoWealth and a Certified Public Accountant with more than thirty years experience in the healthcare and financial industries. He is the owner and president of Albertz and Associates, a Cincinnati based CPA firm.
Mark was born and raised in Cincinnati, and has lived on the West Side for more than 55 years. He is a graduate of Xavier University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Finance. He has been a CPA since 1978 and is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Throughout his career he has served as Statewide Manager of Reimbursement for the largest Blue Cross plan in Ohio, Controller for an HMO in the Greater Cincinnati area, and Director of Finance for United Healthcare. In addition to his full-time business, Mark is a member of the Board of Directors for the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, where he taught accounting from 1984 to 2005. He has been married to his wife Marion for more than 30 years and has three children.
Jennifer K. Funk, Financial Consultant Jenny is a partner in NuevoWealth, and has been Director of Operations at Albertz & Associates CPA firm since 1999 bringing more than 25 years of managerial experience to the company. She has worked as a Branch Administrator for ITT Business Communication Corporation and Marketing Administrator for NCR.
Jenny is a native of Middletown and has lived in the Southern Ohio area for more than 45 years. She is the former President of the Springdale chapter of Business Network International (BNI) and has been serving as an Ambassador of the West Chester Chamber Alliance for more than two years. She studied in Business Marketing Technology at Miami University of Middletown. Jenny is an accomplished equestrian competing in regional and national performance shows in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. She and her husband Jim have been married for 20 years and share their home with a cat, two dogs and two horses.
